WHEN TO REPLACE

Grips lose traction long before they look "old." If you notice slickness, hand fatigue, or increased grip pressure, your accuracy is being compromised.

THE LAB PROCESS

Full solvent-based extraction, safe tape removal, and precision alignment. We recommend annual replacement or every 40 rounds.

Performance Re-Shaft

SIGNS OF FAILURE

Rattling sounds (internal debris), splintering graphite, or sudden inconsistency in ball flight indicate compromised shaft integrity.

REPAIR VS REPLACE

We use thermal extraction to save high-value heads. All new shafts are prepped, tip-weighted, and set with aerospace-grade epoxy.

Forged heads move over time. We recalibrate your lofts to ensure consistent distance gapping throughout the set.

04 // LAB DIRECTIVES & DISCLOSURES

COMMENCEMENT OF WORK

Work orders do not enter the production queue until 100% of components (heads, shafts, grips, ferrules) are present in-lab. The "build clock" officially begins once all parts are verified and in-hand.


COMPONENT PROCUREMENT

We have access to all major OEM and aftermarket shafts/grips. We can source any specific component required for your build. Clients may also provide their own components for assembly.


GRAPHITE SURCHARGE

Due to the fragile nature and specialized preparation required for graphite putter and iron shafts, a surcharge applies to all graphite-based builds to cover increased labor and risk mitigation.


THE "NO-SAVE" POLICY

Due to the extreme heat required for epoxy breakdown and the structural degradation of aged rubber, we do not guarantee the salvage of existing shafts or grips. All shaft pulls and grip removals are considered destructive processes. Chassi Clubworks is not responsible for components that fail during extraction.


LIABILITY RELEASE

By submitting a build request, the client acknowledges that custom club building involves mechanical stress. Chassi Clubworks is not liable for head breakage, shaft splintering, or cosmetic marring on aged or previously used equipment. All builds are tested to industry standards before release.
